Hello! My name is Diana Ruth and I graduated in May of 2017 from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I have a strong passion for frontend and full-stack web development and I have experience designing and developing reliable and scalable web applications for a variety of purposes. I currently work as a Senior Software Engineer at Cvent, creating new features and widgets for the event website creator. In my free time, you can find me knitting, biking, cooking, playing World of Warcraft, or spending time at my CrossFit gym.

Since I studied both electrical engineering and computer science, I've been exposed to a large variety of concepts that has provided me with a well-rounded understanding of software engineering. I've taken classes on circuits, logic design, operating systems, robotics, software engineering, mobile development and more, but my true passion lies in web design and development. I love learning new languages and frameworks in my spare time to further develop my software development skills, and I would love to find a career where I can use cutting-edge web technologies to solve the world's most interesting problems.
